The Front Nine
Right out of the gate, The Greens at Beaumont feels like a course built for the average golfer. The fairways are wide open and well maintained front to back, so if you're not chasing scratch-golfer accuracy off the tee, you're not getting punished for it here. It's the kind of layout that lets you swing freely instead of white-knuckling every drive.
That said, not every hole was clean. The tee box on hole 3 had a noticeable number of divots — enough that finding a decent lie to tee off from took a little extra hunting. Hole 4 was the low point of the front nine: the green was in rough shape and noticeably bumpy, which made reading putts more of a guessing game than it should be. At $42 per person with a cart, it's also worth noting the round runs a little pricey for what you get.
The Back Nine
The back nine plays a lot like the front — same wide-open, player-friendly fairways in solid condition throughout. The clubhouse itself didn't have much to offer, so don't expect to spend much time there beyond the turn, but the back nine is really where this course earns its keep.
Holes 12 and 13, both par 4s, were the highlight of the round. We were able to drive the green on both, and there's nothing quite like that feeling — it adds a real spark of excitement and makes the course feel more rewarding to play than its price tag suggests. Then hole 18 brings you back around to the clubhouse with a few small challenges along the way before opening up into a big, well-kept green. It's a strong finish and wraps up the round on a high note.

The Verdict
Yeah, we'd bring a buddy back here. The $42 price tag is a little steep for what you get, but it doesn't outweigh what the course does right. This is a great fit for beginners and weekend golfers — the wide-open, forgiving fairways mean you're not getting punished for the occasional off-line drive, so you can just relax and play.
The rough patches on hole 3's tee box and hole 4's green keep it from being a top-tier recommendation, but the back nine more than makes up for it. Getting the chance to drive the green on both 12 and 13 sealed the deal for us — that's the kind of exciting golf that makes you want to come back for another round.
